Account
The account menu allows you to access important functions regarding your Wunderlist account.
Invite your friends - This button allows you to invite your friends to the Wunderlist experience. You can use our default email message (or type a more personal one), enter an email address and hit send. If email isn't your thing, we have provided share options to the web's best loved social networks - including Facebook, Twitter, Digg and Stumbleupon.
Edit Account - This option allows you to change your email address and/or password. You'll have to enter your current password to confirm the changes. If you have any problems, please have a look here.
Delete Account - Although we'll be sad to see you leave, you always have the option to delete your account. Simply hit 'Delete Account' and your data is wiped immediately.
Log Out - If you wish to stop using Wunderlist for a period of time, or if you are having any problems, hit the 'Log Out' button. You can always log back in again using the main screen.
Settings
The settings panel offers you extended Wunderlist options.
Language - You can use Wunderlist in over 20 languages. Choose to switch at any time using the 'Language' sub-menu. When you have selected to use another language, Wunderlist will close and reopen itself. Don't panic - it's normal!
Date Format - You can change the date format at any time using the 'Date Format' sub-menu.
Sidebar Position - The 'Sidebar Position' button allows you to place the the main lists panel on either the right or left hand side. Customize it to streamline your personal workflow.
Delete Prompt Dialogs - Do you accidentally delete stuff regularly? No problem, the 'Delete Prompt Dialogs' option has got you covered. Every time you choose to delete a list or task, a dialog box will appear asking you for confirmation.
Enable Smart Date Recognition - If you want to enter tasks with due date very quickly, you can use the Smart Date Recognition. It allows you to enter a due date directly in the input field, without opening the date picker. For a detailed list of possible strings, click here
Reset Window Size - If your Wunderlist window ever goes astray, simply hit the 'Reset Window Size' sub-menu. Wunderlist will automatically resize itself to the center of your screen. Magic!
Reset Note Window Size - You can also get the note window back to the middle of the screen in it's original size. Just click on 'Reset Note Window Size'
Reset Tutorials - Although we have our tasks safely stored in Wunderlist, we all forget things from time to time. If you would like to rekindle that new user experience and read through our startup tutorials again, simply hit 'Reset Tutorials'.
How can I check my version number?
If you are on a Mac, click 'Wunderlist' and 'About Wunderlist' in the top left of your menubar. This will display your version number in a small window. If you are working with Windows or Linux, go to 'About Us' and click 'About Us'. The version will be displayed at the bottom of the popup window.
