I forgot my password, what shall I do?
At the login screen, please enter your email address and use the 'Forgot Password?' button. Click the button once and wait a few moments until you get an email from us. The email will contain a new automatically generated password. Now you can login with your email address and the new password. When you try to log in, please be sure to type the email address and the password completely correctly. If you copy the new password from our email, be sure there are no empty spaces copied with it.
After you have logged in, you can change the computer generated password back to a personal one.
How do I change my password?
To change your password please open the account/settings menu. In the window, you can type a new password into the input field. Leave the input field for a new email address empty. Confirm your password (by entering the one you just logged in with). Everytime you change your password please ensure that you log out from every device and log back in with your new password. This will prevent any authorization issues that you may encounter.
How do I change my email address?
In the same window, you can also change your email address. Again, open the settings menu and the edit account window. Leave the input field for a new password empty. Enter a new email address and confirm it with the current password.
I get sync errors, what shall I do?
Most sync errors can be solved by a simple log out/in. Open the menu, logout from your account and login again. If the sync errors appear again, be sure there is a working internet connection at your place or for your phone. If you are working in a corporate network behind some kind of firewall or proxy server, Wunderlist cannot connect.
I'm working behind a proxy, how can I sync?
Proxies are not supported by Wunderlist. This is why many will encounter problems when trying to do so. As an alternative, please use the web app at wunderlist.com or use the data connection on your mobile phone.
For the Mac users with problems behind a proxy, there is a little workaround. Please try to do the following steps to get Wunderlist working:
- Open the system preferences
- Click Network
- Click Advanced
- Chose Proxies
- Deactivate the option for Auto Proxy Discovery
- Save the setting by clicking OK
If there is a Proxy Server in your network, please put it in the list manually.
I can't install Wunderlist on my Mac or Windows PC.
If there are problems with, or right after, the installation of Wunderlist, please uninstall Wunderlist completely. Follow these instructions and delete the Titanium folder of Wunderlist as well. After that, go back to our website and try to install Wunderlist again. If that does not work, please inform us about the problem and use the web app at www.wunderlist.com instead.
My Wunderlist display is messed up and has graphical errors.
Please report the problem to us, we will try to fix it. For an immediate solution, please close the app and restart it. If the problem remains permanently, please uninstall Wunderlist completely and reinstall it.
